About the role
Booster Plant Genetics, a seed company, is hiring two MLT Assistants for its Multi-Location Trial (MLT) R&D team across Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The role runs field trials of new varieties and hybrids, records crop data and works with farmers and the R&D team.
What you'll do
- Conduct multi-location trials and regular field observations.
- Monitor crop growth, pests, diseases and abiotic stress.
- Collect, record and send field-trial data to the R&D team.
- Coordinate with farmers, field staff and the R&D team.
- Support demonstrations, harvesting, yield recording, sampling and reporting.
Who should apply
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. Agriculture preferred.
- Freshers can apply; field or R&D experience is an advantage.
- Basic computer and MS Excel skills.
- Willing to travel extensively for field work.
