Jagan Compost & Warehouse Pvt Ltd runs an integrated button-mushroom farm at Dholpur, Rajasthan, with 51 growing rooms under construction; plant start-up is planned for December 2026 and full capacity in 2027. The Plant Manager owns every machine and engineering service on the farm, reports to the Managing Director, and joins during erection to witness commissioning and then run the plant. Joining is required by 1 December 2026, and candidates on 60–90 days' notice must be identified by 25 October. Accommodation provided by the company.

What you'll do

• Run all machines and engineering services on the farm, including the ammonia chilled-water plant (about 1,000 TR), 51 air-handling units, electrical installation, water plant, boiler and steam.
• Keep cooling, air, water, power and steam available to the growing rooms and compost yard 24 x 7.
• Witness commissioning tests with the makers' and erector's engineers, sign test records, and collect manuals, drawings and certificates.
• Run a preventive-maintenance calendar, daily plant log, breakdown response and AMC contracts.
• Manage energy use, including kW per tonne of refrigeration, condenser water chemistry and AHU filter and coil upkeep.
• Maintain the ammonia emergency plan, quarterly drills, monthly gas-detection tests and statutory compliance (PESO, Factories, Electrical Inspector, Boiler, Pollution Board).
• Hire, train and roster the plant team, including operators certified on ammonia handling.
• Maintain critical spares and stores, and submit the Monday one-page report to the Managing Director.
• Handle the engineering side of Phase-2 (27 more rooms, 4th compressor set), solar and storage, and future canning and spawn-lab utilities.
• Certify JCB, loader and tractor operators as fit to operate and keep machine, fuel and oil logs, licences and insurance.

Who should apply

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (or Electrical with strong refrigeration experience).
• Minimum 5 years in plant operation and maintenance, with at least 2 years running an ammonia refrigeration plant (reciprocating or screw) in dairy, ice-cream, cold chain, brewery, food processing, fisheries, pharma or a large cold storage.
• Must be able to read P&IDs, GA drawings and single-line diagrams, and know ammonia safety and leak response.
• Knowledge of compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, VFDs, panels, basic water chemistry, boiler operation and statutory inspections.
• Willing to hold the factory's ammonia and refrigeration responsibilities on record; valid driving licence.
• Fluent in Hindi, with working English; comfortable in a rural posting with on-call duty.
• Age 30–48 years; based in Dholpur, with accommodation on or near the farm provided; 6-day week.
• Must commit to a 24-month minimum service under a written agreement before being short-listed.
• Preferred: 8–12 years, has been in-charge of a plant of 500 TR or more, has commissioned a new plant, Boiler Operation Engineer certificate, SCADA/PLC and ERP exposure.
• Joining by 1 December 2026; notice period of 60–90 days is acceptable if identified by 25 October.
